University of Western Australia

University of Western Australia is the oldest university in WA and one of the largest university campuses in Australia, just a few kilometers South West of Perth CBD. It borders the Swan River to the East and Kings Park to the North.

Accommodation:

Guest accommodation may be available at Trinity College, which is just off campus and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.

The CDB also offers very easy access to UWA via bus, which is a ten minute journey. Staying anywhere near Perth Station or the Esplanade Busport would be easiest. There is also a bus that goes via West Perth. Unfortunately, while the bus trip from the CBD is relatively cheap by capital city standards, the accommodation there is not!

Car Parking / Transport:

Bus

UWA is well serviced by frequent buses from the city. For information re public transport to and from campus, click here. UWA also provide useful public transport map you can download here. From the city, bus routes 950, 102, 107 and 23, all head toward UWA from Esplanade Busport (stop 12221 or 12215) and take approximately 10 mins to get to UWA. Transperth has timetables for all bus routes to UWA here. Most passengers will usually get off the bus on Stirling Hwy after Hackett Drive at the Northern end of the campus (stop 10388). From there is it a few minutes walk to the Faculty of Science.
