Dear ACSPRI reps,
Below I have pasted a brief generic note regarding the upcoming ACSPRI Winter Program, if you would be kind enough to circulate within your reach. Please feel free to make adjustments.
You will notice that we are heading to Perth this Winter (in addition to Sydney), which I believe will be ACSPRI's first visit to Perth in nearly two decades!
I will follow up with Perth and Sydney-based members to offer help publicise this program more thoroughly and I expect I will email key additional contacts at most of these institutions/organisations directly, in addition to our automated system. If your institution/organisation is based in another state but you feel that targeted emails would also be particularly beneficial on this occasion, please feel free to let me know at martin.lynch@aspri.org.au.
Many thanks and best regards as always
Marty Lynch
Program Coordintor
ACSPRI
P.S. I will be on leave from tomorrow afternoon (21st Feb) until 11th March but will be leaving an informative auto-reply including alternative email details for urgent queries.

Dear Staff
Bookings for the 2013 ACSPRI Winter Program are now open.
Twenty-four five day courses are on offer across three weeks in Sydney and Perth; 24th June – 5th July at University of Technology Sydney and 15th – 19th July at University of Western Australia.
The Australian Consortium for Social and Political Research Inc (ACSPRI) is a not-for-profit organisation that has offered short courses in research methods, predominantly for staff and HDR students at its member institutions, for twenty-seven years. These courses are suitable for a wide range of researchers and cover a host of qualitative and quantitative research and analysis techniques of various levels and include training in a number of research-related software (e.g. SPSS, AMOS, Mplus, Nvivo, Stata, R).
Our organisation is an ACSPRI Member so bookings from staff and students are eligible for considerable discounts. Further early bird discounts are available for bookings that are completed and paid for 8th May, 2013. Up until this daye, full time post graduate students pay only $1000 per course and other students and staff pay $1560, compared with the full rate of $3130.
Program information, a list of courses, prices, FAQs and the booking system are available at www.acspri.org.au/winterprogram2013. Course and program details will continue to be updated in the coming weeks and queries can be forwarded to winter2013@acspri.org.au.
As usual, several courses are likely to fill up before the early bird deadline on 8th May, so be quick!
