2011 Summer Program notice for circulation

Dear ACSPRI Member Representative

After recently holding what was easily our largest ever Spring Program at Monash University, bookings are now well underway for the ACSPRI 2011 Summer Program at ANU in Canberra.

I have copied below a general notice for circulation among research staff and HDR students in relevant faculties/divisons.
Please feel free to change the content as you see fit (e.g. the greeting or the words "Our Institutiontoward the end of the second paragraph) before pasting it into an email of your own.

I understand that it is difficult for some of our representatives to circulate notices beyond their own division/faculty. If so, please let me know, as I am happy to contact the other relevant faculties directly in these cases (there is no need to contact me if I have already discussed this with you).

If you require any further details about the program please let me know (martin.lynch@acspri.org.au)

Many thanks for your ongoing support.

Kind Regards,

Marty Lynch
ACSPRI

Dear Staff and Students

Enrolments for the 2011 Summer Program (10th to 21st Jan, ANU in Canberra) are open and places are filling fast!

The Australian Consortium for Social and Political Research Inc (ACSPRI) is a not-for-profit organisation that has offered short courses in research methods, predominantly for HDR students and staff at its member institutions, for over twenty-five years. These courses cover a range of qualitative and quantitative research and analysis techniques of various levels and include training in a number of research-based software (including SPSS, AMOS, Mplus, Nvivo, SAS, Stata, RUMM2030 and more). Substantial discounts apply to bookings from our organisation, and a further discount is available for full-time post graduate students who complete and organise payment of their booking by the 8th November, 2010.

Program details, a full list of all courses on offer and the online booking facility are available at www.acspri.org.au/summerprogram2011.

There are still 4 weeks before the Early Bird Deadline date (8th November), however, after smashing enrolment figures at the 2010 Summer and Spring programs, certain courses are likely to book out well before the pre Early Bird Deadline rush!
